Marriage Contract Procedure

The Marriage contract procedure is as follows

1. Obtain a marriage application from the Marriage Buraeu of the county you live in (e.g Jackson county is at the court house of KCMO).
2. Inform the Buraeu that you are getting married at the IslamicCenter of Greater Kansas City.
3. Make appointment with the Islamic Center after you obtain the application, it take about three days for the application to be available.

What to bring to the appointment:

• The marriage application
• You and the Bride to be
• Photo IDs
• Two witnesses
• The bride wali or wakeel (father, older brother or representative)
• Fee of $50.00
